Italy, whether in the long gone days of the Roman Empire, or even today, thrived with the influence and strength of cities like Rome, Florence, and Venice. How can we apply the values of these civilizations to ourselves?

I am Tolga Erbora, a graduating senior from the FIU Honors College, and I study Physics. Aside from my discipline, I enjoy the arts, and also enjoy cities and what they have to offer. Having the chance to interact with civilizations past and present, especially in relation to one of the most powerful empires was a key cause for my participation in the Italy Study Abroad program.
